Lori Wright, LLC is a consulting organization specializing in CNS site consulting and study placement.

Lori Wright, President of Thievon-Wright Consulting has been in the clinical research field for over 28 years.  In the early 1980s, Lori began her career with Oxford Research International Corp., one of the first full-service CROs in the industry.  Lori held positions as Marketing Manager, Director of Personnel, and Director of Business Development.

After ten years with a CRO, Lori became Director of Research and Finance at Fieve Clinical Services, Inc. and simultaneously managed The Foundation for Depression and Manic Depression in New York City.  Over the next four years, Lori worked very closely with Ronald R. Fieve, M.D., the world-renowned psychiatrist from Columbia and New York State Psychiatric Institute, and author of the popular books Moodswing and Prozac.  Under the training and direction of Dr. Fieve, Lori managed a staff consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical research coordinators and patient recruiters and participated in over 20 clinical trials.

Lori was then recruited by Valence Research, an SMO owned by ARC Ventures, a for-profit arm of Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago.  As Vice President of Business and Network Development, Lori spearheaded the formation of investigator networks in psychiatry, infectious diseases, cardiology and women’s health.  With Jan Fawcett, M.D. as the Thought Leader, Valence’s Psychiatric Network consisted of many of the most well-respected and experienced research sites in the country.  Lori was then responsible for procuring clinical trials for that and other networks until Valence was sold in 1998.

In 1999, Lori began consulting on an independent basis for various corporations as well as private-based investigators.  While continuing to provide consulting services to various parties in the pharmaceutical industry, the organization is primarily focused in CNS site consulting.  The investigators Lori represents find her to be a valuable member of their team as she provides business development services that complement their own internal efforts.  Sponsors rely on Lori’s expertise in assisting them in the site selection process for clinical trials in psychiatry, pain, sleep and related areas.
